I have enjoyed storyboarding through many courses from, Intro to TV, through Pre-Production Design, Animation 1, and Digital Audio and Video.
I also enjoyed designing Comps for the interface of Web pages and have a lot of fun with Photoshop and Illustrator for other classes and on my own time.
I originally was interested in the computer because I had a small clothing business when I was out West called Precision Tie Dye. I knew I would need to learn the computer to run a legitimate business and would not make any money without selling only retail, not wholesale like I had been surviving on. Yes, I graduated highschool in the day of typewriters, only five students in a highschool of 2000 were in a computer course. Well now, needing a catalogue and website to get retail sales, I decided to study DMA myself instead of getting a loan to pay someone else to do it.
The best plan when starting a business is to keep your day job until you've created a job for yourself that pays a decent wage for your time and keeps you in business.
I think the best position for me is in a larger company, doing a part of the proceedure of developing websites. Designing is more fun for me than making it work, although knowledge of what can and can not work is important in designing, I think.
